Health Information Systems (HIS) Manager

Overview
Oversees health information systems, data governance, privacy, and interoperability within health organizations. HIS Managers ensure accurate, secure, and efficient management of patient information systems while supporting clinical and public health teams.
What You’ll Do
- Lead system strategy, development, and lifecycle management.
- Manage data governance, privacy, and security frameworks.
- Ensure integration, reporting, and vendor alignment.
- Support clinical and public health teams with data needs and system improvements.
Prerequisites
- Grade 12 diploma with a minimum 70% average in:
- English Language Arts A30
- English Language Arts B30
- Foundations of Math 30 or Pre‑Calculus 30
- One 30‑level science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
- Keyboarding requirement: minimum 25 net words/min with 90% accuracy.
- English language proficiency.
Mature Admission:
- 21 years or older
- Written submission
- Transcripts
- Less than 18 transferable credit units
