Primary Pathway: Public Health
Overview
Uses data to monitor population health, guide public health programs, and support outbreak response. Epidemiologists study disease patterns, investigate risks, evaluate interventions, and contribute to data‑driven decision‑making at local, provincial, and national levels.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct health surveillance and analyze population health data.
- Support outbreak investigations and develop epidemiological reports.
- Evaluate public health programs and create dashboards or indicators.
- Translate findings into recommendations for leadership and community partners.
Prerequisites
- Grade 12 diploma (Regular, Adult 12, or GED).
- Undergraduate degree required before entering Epidemiology or Public Health graduate programs.
