Primary Pathway: Administration

Overview

Creates communications that inform, engage, and reflect community values and voices. Communications Officers manage messaging across print, digital, media, and community channels.

What You’ll Do

  • Write and design materials for website, social media, newsletters, and print.
  • Support media relations, events, and communications campaigns.
  • Ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and cultural safety in messaging.
  • Work across programs to share stories, results, and community updates.

Prerequisites

  • Grade 12 diploma (Regular, Adult 12, or GED).
  • Bachelor of Arts (Communications, Journalism, PR, etc.) recommended.
