Overview

Delivers community‑based short‑term counselling, education, and navigation to supports. Community Counselling Support Workers help individuals and families cope with emotional, social, and practical challenges and connect them to specialized services.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide brief counselling and psychoeducation.
  • Facilitate group circles, workshops, and community sessions.
  • Support navigation to mental health, addictions, and social services.
  • Lead outreach and community wellness engagement.

 

Prerequisites

  • Grade 12 diploma (Regular, Adult 12, or GED).

Education & Qualifications
